WATERLOO, Ont. - With a 82-64 loss to Waterloo on Feb 13, the Western men's basketball team remains in fourth place in the OUA West Division.

Andrew Wedemire (Sarnia, Ont.) continues his race to his 1,000 point milestone for his Mustangs career. He currently has reached 997 points, netting 14 points for the Mustangs. He will likely achieve his 1,000 points in the back-to-back road games in Thunder Bay, Ont., next weekend as Western closes out the regular season against Lakehead.

Ryan Barbeau (Belleville, Ont.) and Garrett Olexiuk (Burlington, Ont.) combined for 29 points in the Waterloo loss.

With two games remaining in the regular season, the Mustangs currently hold fourth in the West which would give them home court advantage in the first round of playoffs.

The Warriors sit below the Mustangs in the standings with nine points and now prepare for the first-place Thunderwolves. The games are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Feb 19. and 20.
