London High School Standout Commits to the Mustangs

Peter Scholtes of Oakridge High School in London has committed to the Mustangs for September 2010. Scholtes a versatile 6'5 forward has size, skill and athleticism to contribute right away at the CIS level. "Our program is very excited about Pete's decision. He is an outstanding player, person and student who will be a key player for our program for years to come" said Coach Campbell. Scholtes is known for his ability to play both inside and out and is a tough defender who likes to rebound. "Peter has an outstanding all-around game for his size" Coach Campbell added.
Scholtes has led Oakridge, where he is coached by Mustang's assistant coach John Curcio, to two straight SWOSSA AAA Championships and thus two straight OFSAA AAA Tournaments. This season Peter will be looking to led his squad to a third.
"I'm excited and can't wait for it to start" said Scholtes. "I look forward to playing basketball for a Program that competes at the national level and where I can do it in front of my friends and family."
