Curtis with TV Werne

Whats up Mustang Nation,
Its a rainy Saturday morning (typical) and Im just hanging out checking up on my NBA highlights and sporting news from the previous days action. Its been a while since Ive written one of these so I figured Id stop being lazy and git r done. I’ve watched a couple games now online. The afternoon ones are lovely because I don’t have to stay up until 2 am to watch. Guelph game was a little shaky until the last couple minutes. Its really tough, trying to battle through injuries, not having enough bodies at practice and only playing 5 on 5 when you play games. Was really proud of the way the team played against Windsor, always battling and not backing down, especially without Adam and G$ in the lineup. A teams true character is revealed when things aren’t going well, everyone is always happy when you are winning. Stay Mentally tough and things will turn around.
As for our team, we have shaken up personnel, once again. Mitar, our Serbian shooting guard, decided to go back to Serbia after Christmas and is playing at home in the countries first league for more money. So our team decided to bring back a player from last year. Crowd favourite and is very athletic. Nice guy to have on your team. We have won 2 straight now and have all but secured our spot in the league for next year, which was the goal on the team this year. We are in the 1/4s on the Pokal (cup) and if we win on Wednesday, it will be the furthest the club has ever gone in this tournament.
I had an awesome and refreshing break back in Canada (once we got there). It was nice to see friends and family. And was especially awesome to eat some of the foods I miss so dearly. Jack Astors buffalo chicken strips, Harveys, Dill pickle chips...the list goes on and on. Great times as per usual in London. Great to be back in the two places where I do my best work, Alumni Hall and the Ceeps.
Good Luck today vs Laurier. Lock up on D, and everything else will fall into place. Play well and will be in touch soon.
